I saw Facebook ads for this item for 2 years. I watched YouTube video after video. I never really could justify the cost until my faithful 10 year old InStyler began showing its age. After seeing many reviewers say that the newer models of the InStyler couldn’t hold a candle to mine, The technique needed to achieve curl is for the most part one-handed. That in and of itself takes some adjustment. I found that the YouTube videos put up from itself were more helpful than most of the reviews and tutorials out there from the general public. My first time using it, I struggled a bit but I was able to see curls starting to form. With another couple of videos I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong, and now I’m able to get ringlets! I was also able to figure out how to do my daughter’s hair with it. It definitely does take me less time to curl all of my hair and I get a kick out of watching each piece of hair spring into a curl once it slips out of the iron! I also found that it gives me wider curls and more body than my faithful InStyler, and it requires less twisting and turning of the wrist. Long story short, yes there’s a learning curve but all types of curling tools are different and require a different technique. Don’t let that discourage you from giving this a try.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this iron. I have been looking at it and wanting it purchase it for some time but due to the price tags I really had to put some hard thought into it. I read the reviews and watched MANY turtorial videos and unboxing a on YouTube. I finally decided to make the purchase and have been beyond pleased! I have stick straight, short, thick hair and when I curl it using the Tyme Iron I have body and curl. I love my hair so much! A couple things to remember... First, the downfall that I read about is that this is geared more towards right handed people and lefties seem to struggle. I’m right handed so this wasn’t an issue. second the price tag, but I have thouraly enjoyed the results I’ve received from it which, to me, has made up for this. If you’re on the fence to purchase, do it! I recommend it!!!

I have issues with coordination! I have a clamp curling iron(3 to be exact!), i have almost 300 dollar ceramic hair straightener that i am supposed to be able to use to curl my hair. I have an almost 300 dollar curling wand that i litterally have used once because my coordination (or lack there of) is not what it should be. I hate doing my hair and leaving it down cause it nirmally takes me an hour to do so. Ive had this iron for 4 days now and i love it. It takes me less than 20 minutes to get ready in the morning and i get beautiful beach wave mermaid hair that holds all day with no hairspray! I am in love with this product!

I NEVER style my hair. I don't even dry my hair! I only get my hair styled when I go in for my color touch ups. I kept seeing the video ads on Instagram and it looked so easy that I decided to buy one. plugged my iron in and was giggling OUT LOUD at how easy and fast it was! Worth every penny. So easy! I'm sure I'll get much better as I get more used to it. I posted this pic of my FIRST attempt so that you could see the results from someone who is truly just a wash-and-go girl. If I can achieve these results, ANYONE can! 😁

I just received my curling iron today. This was my first attempt and I’m pleased! Very easy to use. I set iron to the medium heat and did not leave hair in contact with iron very long at all. If you’re used to curling your hair with a flat iron, this will not give you any problems and will provide you with a more natural, beachy look. I’m most happy with the bottom section of each curl. Very natural looking and relaxed.

Ok, I was skeptical. I have never been good at styling my hair, so I didn’t want to spend this much $$ only to find out I couldn’t use it. So, I bought a knockoff for less than $40. I learned how to use this style iron with a cheap version. It is definitely a learning experience. I got the hang of it and I was happy with the knockoff, but wasn’t sure it was healthy for my hair. I got a gift card, WOW! I am blown away at the difference. It’s like going from an economy car to a Cadillac! Much better quality and curls are bouncier. I am happy with my purchase. (Note: I am noticing many comments about the iron being in used condition. Mine was definitely new. I saw these comments before I ordered, so when I saw the box below the “order now” button that said “new”, I clicked on it just in case it might guarantee I got a new one. Don’t know if that is what worked, but my iron looked brand new and was boxed perfectly). I would like it to be less expensive, but when I’ve spent extra for flat irons, it was always a better quality product and better for my hair. The same is true
